After the two add-on’s to FEAR – extraction point and Perseus Mandate, both developed by Time Gate Studios and edited by Vivendi Universal for one and Sierra the other, gone are the simple prolongations to the same game. This time the team at Monoloith, the developers of FEAR who saw a great deal of success, are back and offering us a follow up to compliment the first game which saw the light of day three years ago now.

This time they have teamed up with Warner interactive to present this horror-FPS which put you against the crazies. The advice of Dave Matthews, the lead designer at Monolith is that the two add on’s took the fans away from the original game. A rip back to its origins was therefore envisaged by Dave’s teams with a game that is even more pronounced in terror with an emphasis on the strongest source: Alma.
