Test Antec NSK6500 : polyvalent case

Well known in France, Antec has acquired an excellent reputation for their PC cases. This reputation is well deserved as Antec only concentrates on the middle to upper end range of the market. But, Antec is now displaying their know how by regularly creating innovative products to add to their product line.

It appears that the only rival manufacturer that can match Antec is Lian-Li who specialises their products towards the top end of the market. But we also shouldn’t forget CoolerMaster who has maybe lost some of their shine, but are still present in the middle range of cases.

Antec has certainly impressed us previously with their Super LANBOY, Sonata, P150 and P180 cases and they are also quite well known on their middle range boxes with their “Solution” series under the SLK name.

The SLK range is characterised by Antecs know how for computer cases:

The case is quiet and the heat is dispersed very well. The thermals are managed by the relatively discrete SmartPower and the dark finish is nice looking. The inside of the box has been well designed to allow you to add/remove components as well as upgrade the most common parts.

More then three years after being first launched, the “SLK Solution” from Antec has added to their new range the “New Solution” models that conserve the same “know how at an affordable price” while also benefiting from a new design and a few good improvements.

Even if it is a long way from being totally revolutionary, we will see that the NSK4400 is still a worthy successor to the SLK3800B.
