Receiving a new graphics card is always a great moment in the life of a tester, even more so when you discover its gaming ability. So, when someone rings your door and says “Sir, I have a package for you” your heart starts to beat a little quicker no matter what it is you are waiting for. On the way to the door you think of telling him that its no just a “package” but instead the latest offering from ASUS. Anyway, your hands tremble – so it’s probably best if you open this without a knife, and you finally get the much awaited contents into your hands.
And here it is the great pleasure!
Finally, it is here and right in front of you. The ASUS 8800 GTX, presented in its imposing box. Honestly, I won’t throw it out but, we didn’t buy a box but instead a graphics card. It should be noted that this “packaging” is at least 5 times larger then the card itself. Currently there is a lot of talk about saving the environment, so you have to wonder why so much waste. It is surely so that the card has enough breathing room in the box… Anyway, its open and we are ready to install it in our case.
