Conclusion

As you will have noted, this beta version actually resembles a system that is quite functional, although there are still a number of developments to be done by the Microsoft team.

In any event, on all levels, this new system holds a lot of promises and should offer users comfort and greatly improved usability. Besides that it should be a lot more stable and especially secure.

We just need to wait now until the end of 2006 (maybe October or November 2006) to be able to test the final version to see if Microsoft has won their difficult bet, the delivery of an operating system that constitutes a technological revolutions and not just a simple upgrade of Windows XP.

Without getting ahead of myself and after having performed tests on numerous beta versions, I think that it’s getting close to say that it should be a real revolution ;-)

Note: The version that we have tested was a version that is not yet finished, everything that we have presented has the possibility of changing or evolving. In reality it is probably only going to be a few adjustments, or the addition of a few real changes.
