Internet Connection
Each time that you connect to the internet your internet provider will generally provide you with a dynamic IP address, which is valid while you are connected for a period of up to 24 hours. This tutorial will allow you to obtain a host name that corresponds to your computer name on the internet while still using a dynamic IP. This means that you will have a personalized 'fixed' IP address. This new address will be permanent and will automatically update itself to your current address. You can also host a web or FTP server without having to configure anything else.
