  1. 1 - Translate a text
  2. 2 - Translate a web page

As an internet user, then there is probably a good chance that you have been looking for information on a precise topic and have noticed that relevant internet sites may be in a different language. You may also have received an email and you want to know what it says. If your knowledge of these other languages is limited, then why not try and use the Google translator? The tool is actually pretty good and although not everything is perfect, it allows you to get a pretty good idea of the keywords.

Called Google Translate, the online tool offers two translation possibilities. The first allows you to translate any text. Select, copy and paste the text into the internet site from your browser or email program.

Launch the Google Translate service and paste the text into the provided field. With the help of the drop down language menu, chose the language you want (English/French in our case) and click on the “Translate” button. The translated text will appear on the right hand side.
