Unable to SAVE or SAVE AS

I have Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010. I am now unable to save documents. I've searched Microsoft's website and have tried several suggestions including their "Mr. FixIt" with no success. Does anyone have any suggestions?

What happens when you try to save? Is there an error message?

Are you sure that you have a full version of Office which is properly
activated?
