Virginia Association of Community Banks Endorses CSI’s Web@Work Portal SolutionsAssociation becomes 17th banking association to endorse web-based portal that provides online platform to integrate communications, document sharing.

The Virginia Association of Community Banks (VACB) has endorsed the Web@Work portal from Computer Services, Inc. (OTCQX: CSVI), a provider of end-to-end technology solutions that empower financial institutions to remain competitive, compliant and profitable. Web@Work simplifies communication by providing two designated online platforms, one for employee intranets and one for board communications.

VACB’s endorsement represents the 17th by a state banking association for Web@Work. The Web@Work Board Portal provides directors with a secure access point to view board materials and other confidential information from home, in their office or on their iPad. The portal provides users with a simplified process for preparing and sharing agendas, minutes, confidential reports and other documents. Web@Work also offers online voting and project collaboration to help facilitate actions on decisions and discussions that need to take place between board meetings.

“In order to successfully supervise the management of a bank, community bank boards need quick and easy access to all required tools and reports both in and out of the office,” said Steve Yeakel, executive vice president of VACB. “CSI’s Web@Work portal greatly improves communication and overall efficiency between the board and bank executives through its secure, easy-to-use platform.”

Web@Work’s employee portal integrates several communication tools and applications into one comprehensive platform for employees across the organization. Banks can utilize the system to keep track of employee time reports, manage vacation schedules, share policy forms, handle projects and tasks and provide secure remote access. Because the portal is hosted online, banks only need an Internet connection, eliminating the need for additional software or hardware purchases.

“As banks continue to seek out technology solutions that streamline operations, decrease cost and improve overall efficiency, we remain dedicated to providing the tools necessary to enhance their work environment,” said Steve Powless, chief executive officer of CSI. “Through Web@Work, banks can effortlessly attain these results by providing a centralized, secure portal for enterprise-wide communication with both employees and directors.”
