Use the iPhone’s voice recognition function to call

If you are sick of having to browse through your contacts list or manually entering a contacts phone number when you want to call someone, then why not use the devices voice recognition function?

To do this you simply need to hold down the devices Home button, the one at the bottom with a small square in the middle, until the voice recognition function has been launched.

From here, you simply need to put the microphone up to your mouth and say "call" followed by your contacts name.

Through our various tests with different first names, the voice recognition function worked relatively well. You will have to make sure that you articulate clearly so that the phone doesn’t mix up contacts names.
