Volt
Consulting Group (VCG) – an Optimum sponsor of the 2011 Contingent
Workforce Strategies Summit – will be exhibiting and leading
roundtable discussions at the show in Las Vegas. The well-attended
Summit will take place October 4th and 5th at the
Red Rock Casino and Spa. The Summit, in its seventh year, is billed as
“the only event geared towards corporate buyers of contingent labor”.
Volt Consulting Group is a regular exhibitor and repeat participant in
the CWS Summits having most recently been a platinum-level sponsor of
the CWS Europe show in Amsterdam this past June.
This year’s US-based Summit promises to deliver valuable insight into
key performance indicators guaranteed to make a positive impact upon the
management of the contingent workforces maintained by the world’s
largest businesses and governmental organizations. The gathering will
host leaders from the human resources, procurement, IT and executive
suites of scores of leading organizations.
As part of their participation, Volt Consulting Group thought leaders
have been tapped to lead a number of exciting events. Senior Vice
President, Mark LeClair will lead a “rapid-fire idea giver” session on the
ever changing needs of an MSP – new complexities and the necessity
of designing the right program and continually redefining the needs. VCG
will also host a roundtable discussion on the subject of “Best Practices
for Establishing Program Metrics and KPIs”; a topic very closely related
to the main focus of the event. VCG’s Jay Chaudry will lead the
discussion on best practices for developing and leveraging key
performance indicators in the five broad areas of cost savings, customer
satisfaction, quality, delivery and compliance. The discussion will also
examine the ways in which KPIs for temporary labor differ from those
used to measure performance of SOW or project-based engagements.
Chaudry says, “We’ll be looking for everyone to share their challenges
and successes. We’ll discuss how KPIs differ between the different lines
of business they manage, such as temporary staff and Statement of Work
engagements, and how successful they’ve been at using them to add
strategic value to procurement programs.” Chaudry says he is looking
forward to a spirited dialogue amongst the attendees.
The VCG exhibition booth will be located at #206 on the convention floor
with key senior team members standing by to answer questions from all
attendees.
