CE Week Mobile Apps ShowdownThirteen top apps demonstrated; you vote for the one most likely to succeed.

CE Week, a popular showcase for new technology, is holding its Mobile Apps Showdown on June 27th, 2012, at 4:30 PM. The Showdown pits some of the most exciting, new apps for mobile phones and tablets against each other in a shoot-out style contest. Each contestant has three minutes to garner “most likely to succeed.” The event is held at the Metropolitan Pavilion 125 West 18th Street, NY, NY 10011.

 

This year’s contenders include:

 

4th and Mayor – a Four Square-like app for Windows Phone

DocuSign Ink – mobile document signature

iPieces – an iPad based board game

Life 360 – keeping families and loved ones safe and in touch

myTrek – newest app from Scosche heart rate monitor

Solar Walk – a 3D romp through the solar system

Personal Capital – wealth management tracking

Kurio7 – a family Android tablet loaded with apps

PageOnce – for tracking all your plastic cards and banking

Path – a private social network to share life’s journey

Ringtone Director Pro – create your own ringtone scripts

Sales Navigator – graphic approach to managing the contacts and meetings in your life

Wordament – Boggle meets Windows Mobile as you play against everyone on the network in real time.
