Wikileaks confirms US government made the Sun$ Oracle$ deal go ahead

So it was entirely political motivations the reasons why oracle bought up Sun$.
So that oracle$ could own MySQL, VirtualBox, OpenOffice and many other
technologies under a proprietary banner and under control of US government?
What for?

I think its a good idea for MySQL, VirtualBox, OpenOffice and any other
open source projects caught up in this web ASAP to fork on out of
oracle$ and get free of the rounding up of too many projects under one
mysterious house under dubious circumstances that don't make any
sense to anyone.

Even I know about Drizzle and MariaDB.
I found some more.

Seems they don't so much need to make a fork
as to make everyone aware of their existence.

There's LibreOffice, Go-oo, OxygenOffice,
and a bunch more in that family tree.

Now, VirtualBox, with its proprietary layers,
may pose a bit more of a challenge.
