Windows 7 Pro and CD Burning

Is there a way to burn a CD using WMP in the XP version of Win 7 Pro? There
are 2 burners that work fine with Windows 7, but don't seem to be recognized
by XP Virtual in Win 7 Pro. Any way around this (besides copying the files
back to Win 7)?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but I end up thinking of this:

*In the XP VM*, download a CD burner program and install it there. I
would think that it would work as expected.

I'm not set up to try that myself.
