It feels like every day we hear something new about the Windows Phone 7 Smartphone. Engadget has today revealed that the HTC T8788 has been picked up by the carrier AT&T.
The launch of Windows Phone 7 is getting closer so it is logical that various pieces of information are starting to filter through, although unofficially for the moment, with numerous handsets accompanying the release. Multiple mobile manufacturers have been developing their products, which are now starting to be revealed.
Engadget has published pictures of a HTC Smartphone, going by the code name HTC T8788, which should be made available before the end of the year by carrier AT&T (GSM carrier) with this being one of the models to make up their future range.
Dedicated to multimedia?
No details about the devices characteristics have been provided but it can be noted that it comes with a large screen and the three Windows Phone 7 buttons (Back, Home, Search) as well as a slide out section which doesn’t hide a keyboard, but instead a large speaker.
Engadget adds that the handset comes with a stand on the back which suggests that the device will be heavily oriented towards multimedia and video. This Smartphone will meet all of Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 hardware specifications, with it being anticipated that it will be rich with functions driven by a powerful processor.
