XRoads Networks, the leader in Unified Bandwidth Management platforms,
has just recently been provided with documentation in which FatPipe
Networks, Inc. states that XRoads Networks does not appear to infringe
on its ‘143 patent.
The following is quoted from FATPIPE’S RESPONSES TO DEFENDANT XROADS
NETWORKS INC.’S SECOND SET OF INTERROGATORIES (filed September 18,
2009). Specifically response No. 13 states: “RESPONSE: FatPipe has
determined that XRoads’ method of load balancing does not appear to
infringe the ‘143 patent and therefore will move to dismiss all claims
based on that patent.”
This response was signed by Sanch Datta, the CIO of FatPipe Networks,
and has been included with this release.
As of this past Friday (April 8th), XRoads Networks has also filed a
tampering motion against FatPipe Networks with regards to the two XRoads
Networks appliances in their possession.
XRoads Networks is currently assessing its options with regards to
future litigation against FatPipe Networks.
