Helping people work online, Zoho
today announced a PayPal option for Zoho
Creator, the company’s online database and forms software. With the
new Zoho
Creator Payment Module, users can accept payments and donations
directly within their Zoho Creator applications via PayPal. Zoho also
announced organizational and domain level sharing and Google Docs
(Forms) Import options for Zoho Creator. A video tour of the Zoho
Creator Payment Module is available on YouTube at http://bit.ly/nZgYpd.
“When it comes to meeting user requests to enhance our applications,
we’ve repeatedly demonstrated that we’ll use third-party technology as
well as our own,” said Raju Vegesna, Zoho evangelist. “The latest
improvements to Zoho Creator reinforce our source-neutral stance. The
integrations with PayPal and Google Docs bring a lot to the table for
our users. Both are proven, widely-used technologies with APIs that let
us unite their payments and forms advantages with our system for
building online custom applications.”
Banking on Zoho Creator
Zoho Creator lets users quickly and easily build custom business
applications. With its drag-and-drop UI, users can automate business
processes with custom workflow; collect data, analyze and generate
reports; set email notifications and schedule tasks; collaborate with
team members and clients; and more. Now, Zoho has enhanced its online
database and forms applications with the following features:
-
Payment Module – Integrated with the PayPal Gateway, the Zoho
Creator Payment Module lets users easily accept customer payments and
donations—directly within their applications—using PayPal accounts or
credit cards. Users can add discounts and other business intelligence
to their payment forms via Zoho’s Deluge Script scripting language.
Using Zoho
Invoice, users can also generate invoices for payments received.
-
Organization and Domain Level Sharing – The revamped Sharing
module in Zoho Creator lets users share forms and applications with
all the users in the organization with a single mouse click. Likewise,
users can share forms and applications in a single click with all
users who sign into Zoho Creator—as long as all users are registered
with Zoho using the same domain.
-
Import Google Docs (Forms) Import – Google Docs users
who use Google Forms to collect data can now add workflow and business
rules, turning their forms into a full fledged business application.
Users can also import their Google Docs, and Zoho Creator creates the
form, imports the data, and lets users add workflows and business
rules.
